Life Unlimited™

Maja Kazazic (M-ya Kazazich) emigrated to the United States at age 16.

The war was raging and she was severely injured. Leaving her family behind in Bosnia and Hercegovina, Maja was evacuated for medical treatment to Croatia, Germany, and then United States. She didn’t speak any English. She had nothing but a t-shirt and an unfailing determination to recover and make a new life.

Life Unlimited™.

Today she runs her own company, Vela Business Solutions. She is active in many organizations, including the Camp No Limits Foundation, Challenged Athletes Foundation, Amputee Empowerment Program, Clearwater Marine Aquarium and many others.

1993 ABC Evacuation Video

I have been sharing my life story for 17 years now. Because of this, I've received countless letters from those who have been touched by my story.

During this time, I've realized one thing. People love stories. When people hear and read stories they can relate, connect............they are touched, inspired.....sometimes they laugh, sometimes they cry.....but each time they are changed, just a little bit.

So I've made it a mission to create a place online for everyone to share stories. It's called One Story One World and you can visit it by going to www.OneStoryOneWorld.com. But before I can officially launch this website I need help in populating it with some of your stories. So, I am calling on everyone I know to go online and share just one story and get one friend to do the same.

I am sure you are thinking-- I don't have any stories to share, I have nothing interesting.....don't worry about it, you may have not been blown up by a bomb and lost your leg but I am sure you have something you can share. You would be surprised how something small to you can have impact on someone else. These don't have to be sad stories, they can be funny too. And you don't have to be a great writer, nor does it have to be a long story........just a simple story from your life. And if you feel like it, share more than one..... share as many as you want. In fact the more the better! However, if you really come up blank, and you really have no stories, you need to immediately drop what you are doing, go out and do something worthy of retelling!

Don't worry about anyone knowing your identity---we don't ask for your name, and all stories are typed so we can't recognize your handwriting -- so no one will ever know who wrote the story. Just make sure you don't use any last names. :-)

Before I can officially launch this website I have to have 150 stories in one week......yowsa!.....please, help me reach this goal, and be a part of something bigger!

You can go explore the site at: www.OneStoryOneWorld.com or you can go directly to sharing your stories at:

Be honest and have fun!

Thank you all in advance!!
